Time for a Birthday Celebration… and a Guessing Game!

Do you like guessing games and treasure hunts? Then, read on… as I have a game waiting for you to try out! Using one of the candy projects in my eBook, "Quilter's Candy Delights", I will post the rules and we’ll see how it turns out. You may have up to seven entries into the giveaway... and tomorrow I reveal which project is the reason for this game...

A fond memory… when my own children were young, I’d make up clues and they’d have to figure out where their birthday gifts were hidden. There was always help if a clue turned out to be too difficult, but it was always a fun search.

The other day, my son told me that he had really enjoyed those times. On one occasion, SBF(now brother-in-law) went along with him to see what it was all about. At one point in the search, my son had two clues to follow and they each took one and went to follow the clue. Of course, SBF didn’t give the place away, but I guess he had never done that on his birthday. The things we do, as kids, are just taken as normal events and we don’t realize that not everyone does it the same way.

So, if you feel young at heart, here’s your opportunity to try a guessing game that relates to our creative passions.

GAME RULES

This guessing game… is intended to be a fun game and all participants have opportunity to win the prize. I just thought, why not do it on a blog. So, here is the way we will play: 

1. So that everyone sees your responses, only comments posted on this blog, will count for the game. 
2. You may post similar answers, as great minds can sometimes think alike.  
3. This game is for everyone and all responses will be entered into the free draw for my eBook. So, the more days you play; the more chances to win. Each day will count as one entry.
4. I will accept entries in other languages, however, I will not be able to read them, so if someone else can interpret them into English, that would be greatly appreciated.
5. Any comment that is translated into English for me, will also count as an additional entry.
6. Anyone that has already received this eBook, as a free gift, may still play along, but please do not give the contents away. 
7. I am giving away two copies of my eBook. This blog is featuring a guessing game for one draw. Visit my other blog, QuiltSamplerJournal for the other chance to enter. Read the instructions on each blog to see how to enter, as they are both different. You may enter on both blogs. 
8. If your name is drawn twice, or you have already received this eBook, I will draw another name.
9. All comments count, no matter what your answers are!! So have fun… The winner will be posted on March 14th!!
10. If you joined late, you may still add comments to past clues… until I have posted the game ‘closed’.
